The Privatization Agency Kosovo has made a public announcement for the lease of 233 attractive assets located in the five regions of Kosovo. The total of 28 assets are offered for lease in the region of Prishtina,  98 assets in the region of Peja, 76 assets in the region of Prizren, 16 assets in the region of Gjilan and 15 assets are available for lease in the region of Mitrovica. The SOE assets to be leased are of different categories, starting from business facilities, offices, warehouses and premises to cadastral plots such as agricultural lands.   

The public announcement is open from today (24.05.2024), while the bids shall be submitted on 07.06.2024 from 10:00 - 12:00 in a sealed envelope for each unit separately in the respective PAK regional offices of: Pristina, Peja, Prizren, Gjilan and Mitrovica. Bid opening and publication of prices shall take place 15 minutes after submission, starting from 12:15. Bids sent by fax or email will not be accepted. 

This is a good opportunity for young entrepreneurs to functionalize their companies in assets that have been announced for lease by PAK, as very attractive assets are offered for lease in all regions of Kosovo.

The lease period is for 1 year with the possibility of extension. It is also expected its termination in case of privatization. The monthly lease is applied for commercial use, while for agricultural use shall be applied annual (seasonal) lease. Bids are made individually for each unit separately and in a sealed envelope (one envelope – one bid per unit), and shall be submitted to the respective Regional Offices, as indicated in the announcement.

With regard to leases that exceed the value of €1,000 per month, before signing the contract, the winning bidder will be required to bring a bank guarantee (not a letter of commitment from the bank) or a guarantee issued by a licensed Insurance Company.

The Bid Submission Form shall be used only, which can be obtained from the respective Regional Offices as indicated in the announcement, or downloaded from the website: www.pak-ks.org. The criterion for selecting the winning bidder of the respective units will be the highest bid price.
