The Board of Directors of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK) held its regular meeting, where, among other things, decided to give consent for the transfer of two properties of SOE "Jedinstvo" for the needs of the Ministry of Health, to be used as central drug warehouse. This decision is in accordance with the final decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on expropriation dated July 24th, 2024.

During the meeting, the PAK Board approved the Report of the PAK Management Evaluation Committee, which presented the progress during the third trimester of 2024. The final lists of workers who will benefit from the share of 20% from the sale, transfer or liquidation of 10 socially-owned enterprises or the assets of socially-owned enterprises have been approved as well, which include: SOE "Peko" Mitrovica; SOE AC "Novobrda" Gjilan; SOE AC "Baran" Peja; SOE AC "Bujku" Prishtina; SOE "Përparimi" Prishtina; SOE" Institute for the advancement of Household in Pristina; SOE "Centrotekstil" Prishtina; SOE "Veterinary Station" Gjakova and SOE "Shipad" Prishtina.

The Board also reviewed and approved the recommendation reports of the Direct Sales Division, where 20 cases that meet the criteria for treatment under the sales procedure were approved and 13 other cases were rejected.     

Finally, other important issues related to privatization and liquidation of socially-owned enterprises were discussed, based on the presentations of PAK management.
