In its ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and efficiency, the Privatization Agency of Kosovo published on its website the list of direct purchase requests for the assets of socially-owned enterprises, which has been prepared by the Direct Sales Division within the PAK.

The list of unreviewed cases includes 1,116 requests, recorded according to the chronological order of submission and covering the period from 2015 to the present. These cases are pending review due to various legal and technical circumstances, such as the imposition of interim measures by the courts, cadastral issues, discrepancies between graphical and textual records, as well as cases where the assets have been subject to Government expropriation decisions. The list also includes other requests that require detailed verification before a final decision can be made.

Through this announcement, the PAK wishes to reaffirm its commitment to enhancing transparency and accountability toward the parties awaiting the processing of their requests, as well as toward the public regarding the entire process of privatization and liquidation of socially-owned enterprises. This process is of particular importance for the sound administration of socially-owned assets and the enhance of their value. 

The published list of unreviewed requests will be updated periodically, while interested parties are invited to submit in writing any remarks concerning the accuracy of the published information to the Kosovo Privatization Agency, either in person or via the official email address info@pak-ks.org
